Taste Atlas will re-launch a list of the 100 most delicious seafood foods in the world continuously in February 2023. This website, which contains lists of foods from various parts of the world, focuses seafood foods into 10 lists based on ratings. Pempek is one of the delicious seafood preparations in the world according to the Taste Atlas. This typical Palembang food is in 5th position. 1. Gambas al ajillo, Spain

Gambas al ajillo is an appetizer from Spain made from shrimp, stir-fried with garlic, lemon juice and paprika. This slightly soupy dish is usually accompanied by chopped parsley and dried bread as an accompaniment.

Pempek is described as a snack that is deliberately made by Palembang people after having enough of fried or grilled fish. Palembang’s typical pempek models are quite varied, starting with submarine, lenjer, adaan, chips, to skin pempek.

6. Espetos, Spain

Espetos are grilled sardines from Spain. This dish has been around since the 19th century. Usually, in beach bars there, sardines that have been grilled over an open fire will be served with drinks ranging from beer to beer.

7. Maguro nigiri sushi, Japan
